2024 National Juried Exhibition
Eligibility
Batesville Area Arts Council’s 13th Annual National Juried Exhibition will be on display at the BAAC Gallery on Main (Batesville, AR) April 29 - June 13, 2025, and is open to all artists 18 and older working in 2D and 3D media. Entries must be original works created within the last 5 years, and must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Reproductions not allowed. Works previously exhibited at the BAAC Gallery on Main are ineligible. All work must weigh less than 60 Ibs. Accepted works must arrive exhibition ready, complete with hanging wire (no saw-tooth hangers or clip frames). 3D works, must not exceed 72 inches in height and 36 inches in width or depth. Works that differ significantly from the entry may be disqualified.

April 22-26: Accepted work delivered via artist, UPS, or USPS
April 29: Exhibition Opens
May 2: Awards Reception
June 13: Exhibition Closes
June 17-21: Artwork pickup/Gallery ships work
Submission Guidelines
Artists may submit up to three images with an entry fee of $30 ($25 for BAAC members). Two additional images may be submitted for an additional $5 each. All entries must be digital files (JPG) 72dpi, with the longest side 1200 pixels. Formal entry file names to include artist’s last name, first and second initial and entry number (i.e.,Smith_AD_l.jpg). Up to two detail images may accompany submissions but are not required. (Please label detail in file name - Smith_AD_1.detail.jpg). Images may also be submitted via e-mail to gallery@batesvilleareaartscouncil.org.
Insurance:
All art works will be insured while on gallery premises. PLEASE NOTE: Insurance does not cover damage caused during shipping due to any reason. Please insure your work during transit.
Sale of Artwork:
All work must be available for sale during the exhibition. BAAC will retain a commission of 35% on all artwork sold.
Publicity:
BAAC may use images of art work accepted into the exhibition for publicity purposes. Artists agree to allow reproduction of their digital files and or photographs taken of their art for educational, publicity and archival purposes.
Awards:
1st Place Award- $500 and solo exhibition in the BAAC Gallery on Main
2nd Place Award- $300
3rd Place Award- $200
Purchase Prize Award- $500
Juror: Kat Wilson
Kat Wilson, an experimental artist from Northwest Arkansas, creates theatrical, participatory, and humanistic work. Wilson's work has been published in Communication Arts, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, displayed at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and projected at The Louvre, among many others.
