Dennis McCann

My Perspective

 

The Batesville Area Arts Council presented My Perspective, an exhibition featuring the work of Dennis McCann, that was on display at the BAAC Gallery on Main, 226 E Main Street, through April 21, 2018. Dennis McCann is a pastel artist currently residing in Maumelle, AR. His subject matter and series have ranged from landscapes, houses, lawn chairs, signs, and people. McCann works from photographs, making adjustments to the composition based on intensity of light, color or subject complexity. Most of McCann’s artwork uses strong sunlight and shadows to establish interesting compositions and the subjects represent “a slice of life” both past and present.

 

A gallery reception and artist talk was held on Friday, March 9, 5 - 7 p.m. The event was free and open to the public. This exhibition was sponsored by LifePlus International.
