George Chlebak

Retrospective Exhibition

 

The Batesville Area Arts Council presented the Retrospective Exhibition by George Chlebak December 4 –22, 2018.

 

With a trained eye and his camera in hand, George Chlebak (1936 – 2018) happily traveled widely, looked closely at cathedrals, rivers, trucks, fairgrounds, and architecture old and new. He translated those subjects and many more into the canvasses, watercolors, drawings, and lithographs. After 40 years of teaching at various colleges, he retired in 2000 from Lyon College, where he was awarded as Emeritus Professor of art.
